The one thing that every business owner or employee has is business cards. They come in many shapes, sizes and colours but making them stand out can be tricky.
Most people think that they to look professional, be clean cut and basically boring. That really isn’t the case! There are so many fun things that you can do with business cards. The rise of the QR code has given a whole new twist on the traditional layout of Business cards, meaning that the usual name, number and email address format can be chucked out of the window.
People even put their Twitter name or Facebook URL on business cards too. It’s all about making yours easier to spot in a pile. If you’re in a creative industry, try and think about how it reflects you. Be quirky, use bold bright colours and try and add something that will really show off you’re creative flare. True, professional services including accountants and solicitors need to keep a corporate image, but that doesn’t mean you can’t show off a bit of personality.
Work with a designer on a few concepts and ask people what they think; when you get a smile and ‘wow’ reaction then you know you’re on the right track.
Remember, people will be given hundreds of business cards during a normal month (more if they are an active networker) so make sure you surprise them with something different.

When customers are deciding on where to spend their money, they take a number of different factors into account; businesses are no different.
With many businesses feeling the strain of a weak economic environment, they need to have confidence in suppliers and know that everything is taken care of. Providing multiple services is fast becoming an attractive trait to businesses looking to get the cheque book out.
It doesn’t always come down to price; it is more often the ‘stress free’ factor. By having one point of contact, and not having to pass work from one area to another, the whole process is streamlined and much more efficient. Plus, there is less chance of something slipping through the cracks as the work is passed to different people numerous times.
If you had the choice of going to three suppliers or one supplier, the logical thing to do would be use the one supplier that can deliver all of the services that you need. Expert Print recently experienced this first hand when took the order for the Jackpot Mailer for Stoneacre.
We were asked to complete an order for 87,000 leaflets; print, fulfilment and mailing. By providing a complete service we were able to ensure that our client could get back to what they do best, while the client knew that one phone call to one supplier was all that was needed to find out what was happening.
Now, we even go one step further. We can design your print artwork too, meaning that we have become a one stop shop for printing requirements.
